REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy forms part of and is incorporated into the Terms of Use governing your access to and use of the lazyinterface.com website and any services we provide (collectively, the “Site” and “Services”). It applies to all clients, customers, and users who purchase, commission, or otherwise engage lazyinterface ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") for any product or service, whether through the Site, a third-party platform, a direct quotation, or any other channel.

By placing an order, paying a deposit or invoice, or otherwise engaging our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy.

NATURE OF OUR SERVICES

We provide custom, made-to-order creative and technical services, including but not limited to AI video and image production, UI/UX design, web and application development, and related digital products and courses. Because our work is bespoke and produced specifically for you, it generally cannot be resold, reused, or recovered once work has begun. This Refund Policy reflects that nature.

DEPOSITS AND ADVANCE PAYMENTS

Most projects require an upfront deposit or advance payment before work begins.

  1. Deposits and advance payments reserve our time, capacity, and resources for your project and are non-refundable once we have commenced work, except as expressly set out in this Policy.

  2. If you cancel before any work has begun, you may request a refund of your deposit, less any non-recoverable third-party costs (e.g. software, licenses, stock assets, or AI generation credits) already incurred on your behalf.

  3. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deposits are credited toward the total project amount and are not in addition to it.

REFUNDS FOR CUSTOM SERVICES (VIDEO, DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT)

For commissioned creative and development work:

  1. Before work begins: You are entitled to a refund of amounts paid, less any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred.

  2. After work has begun but before delivery: Refunds, if any, will be limited to the portion of the project amount corresponding to work not yet performed, as reasonably determined by us. Work already completed, including drafts, concepts, scripts, designs, and renders, is billable.

  3. After delivery: Once final deliverables have been delivered and/or approved, the project is considered complete and no refund will be issued.

  4. Dissatisfaction with subjective elements of creative work (style, aesthetic preference, "feel") is not, on its own, grounds for a refund where the work conforms to the agreed brief or scope. Such concerns are addressed through the revision process below.

REVISIONS

  1. Each project includes the number of revision rounds specified in the applicable quotation, brief, or order. Where no number is specified, two (2) rounds of reasonable revisions are included.

  2. Revisions must relate to the originally agreed scope. New requirements, additional deliverables, or changes to the brief constitute new work and may be quoted separately.

  3. We will make reasonable efforts to address revision requests before any refund is considered. A refund will not be issued where you have declined to use the available revision rounds.

CANCELLATION

  1. Cancellation by you: You may cancel a project at any time by written notice. Amounts already paid are handled as set out in "Refunds for Custom Services" above. You remain responsible for payment covering all work performed and all non-recoverable third-party costs incurred up to the cancellation date.

  2. Cancellation by us: We reserve the right to cancel a project at our discretion. If we cancel before completion for reasons not attributable to you, we will refund amounts paid for work not yet performed, less non-recoverable third-party costs.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS, COURSES, AND TEMPLATES

For digital products, online courses, downloadable assets, templates, and similar items:

  1. Due to their nature, these items are generally non-refundable once access has been granted, the product has been downloaded, or course content has been accessed.

  2. Where a refund window is offered for a specific product, the terms of that window (including any conditions and time limits) will be stated at the point of purchase or on the hosting platform, and those terms govern.

  3. Where a product is sold through a third-party platform, that platform's refund terms may also apply in addition to this Policy.

NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

The following are not eligible for refund under any circumstances:

  1. Third-party costs already incurred on your behalf (software, subscriptions, licenses, stock media, hosting, domains, AI generation credits, and similar).

  2. Work that has been delivered and/or approved.

  3. Completed projects.

  4. Change of mind after delivery or after a project has been completed.

  5. Delays or non-completion caused by your failure to provide required materials, feedback, approvals, or payment in a timely manner.

HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To request a refund, contact us using the details below within seven (7) days of the event giving rise to the request. Your request must include your name, the relevant order or project reference, the amount in question, and the reason for the request. We will review eligible requests and respond within a reasonable period. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method where practicable.

CHARGEBACKS

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to resolve the matter is a breach of these terms. We reserve the right to contest any chargeback with evidence of the order, work performed, and delivery, and to suspend or terminate your access to our Services and recover associated costs.

LATE PAYMENT AND NON-COMMUNICATION

In case we complete the agreed work but you do not communicate back thereafter, or you refuse to pay the project amount due to us within four (4) days after completion of work, a 10% interest will be added for each day thereafter, and after seven (7) days from completion of work, legal action may be taken.

GOVERNING LAW

This Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. You and lazyinterface irrevocably consent that the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute which may arise in connection with this Policy.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to change or modify this Refund Policy at any time and for any reason. Changes are effective when we update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site or our Services after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
